For Adults: Big people get to play, too! This is a fun, one day toy-making workshop, to make a small, simplified version of a sock monkey (or any kind of animal!) Using donated (used, clean) socks, learn to sew, stuff and decorate a toy, for yourself or make a wonderful gift for someone you care about!
Materials provided, using donated (used, clean) socks, but feel free to bring your own new or used (clean!) socks. (We also accept donations for future classes of socks: any colours, size and condition (holes are okay but must be clean!) thank you!)
For Adults: Don’t let the kids have all the fun! Whether you already know how to sew or would like to learn, a sock puppet is a great project for anyone! Learn about different materials and techniques to make - and perform! a wonderfully traditional style of puppet. Materials provided, using donated (used, clean) socks, but feel free to bring your own new or used (clean!) socks. (We also accept donations for future classes of socks: any colours, size and condition (holes are okay but must be clean!) thank you!)
